TIKKUN OLAM

At Kehila we believe that all of us are responsible, each to their own degree, for Tikkun Olam - the healing of the world we live in. Acts of Tzedakah - Charity and Kindness - are part of our routine. This includes collecting food for the food bank and visiting the elderly at Shalom Village. As an example of how this has helped shape our students understanding of the world around them, one of our students, on her 8th birthday, asked her friends to bring used toys for a local shelter instead of getting her gifts.
